Welcome to AGI’s website. We deeply appreciate a customer’s interest in how our company safeguards personal data. AGI processes all data in accordance with applicable data-privacy laws and policies. These ‘policies’ provide detailed information about how personal data is collected/processed by AGI Automation ( hereafter referred to as “AGI”), and the rights to which customers are entitled.
Personal data is any form of data which can be used to identify a person. This includes, but is not limited to, a name, date of birth, address, telephone number, e-mail and IP addresses. Data is considered anonymous if it cannot be used to personally identify a user.
Customer rights as data subjects:
First, we would first like to inform customers about their rights as data subjects. We may be contacted at the above-mentioned e-mail address if a customer has questions regarding how we process data. Additionally, customers always have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection.
Customers have the right to object to the processing of their data for marketing campaigns. This can be initiated at any time. This includes any and all profiling for direct marketing purposes.
If making an objection to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes, AGI will cease to process that data for this purpose. Such objections are free of charge and should be initiated by contacting AGI at email@example.com -[State the desire not to be associated with AGI marketing. We will immediately remove the associated data from our data base].
In the event that AGI processes a customer’s data to protect legitimate interests, the customer may object to that processing on any grounds relating to the customer’s particular situation. AGI will then cease to process that customer’s personal information -unless AGI can demonstrate legitimate grounds for which to override the customer’s request.
Purposes of data processing:
AGI processes customer data in compliance with the provisions of applicable data protection regulations. AGI may use data to initiate a contract, fulfill contractual and legal obligations, execute contracts, offer products and services, and/or strengthen customer relations. This may also include analytics for marketing and direct advertising purposes.
Note: Customer consent constitutes permission under data privacy law. When given consent, AGI will inform the customer about the purposes of the data processing and their right to object. If consent relates to the processing of special categories of personal data, AGI will expressly inform the customer.
Disclosure to third parties:
AGI will only pass on data to third parties within the provisions of the law or with appropriate consent from the customer. Otherwise, it will not be passed on to third parties unless AGI is absolutely required to do so by law, (disclosure to external agencies such as supervisory or law enforcement authorities).
Recipient of data / categories of recipients:
AGI ensures data disclosure only to those individuals within AGI’s organization requiring it for the fulfillment of contractual and legal obligations.
In many cases, service providers assist AGI departments in performing their tasks such as sending out newsletters, etc. All service providers are to be entered into the mandatory data privacy agreement.
Data retention periods:
AGI stores customer data only as long as needed for particular processing purposes. Please note that many data retention laws require storage of data for longer periods. This mainly applies to commercial or tax-related data retention laws. Unless further retention requirements apply, data will be routinely deleted after use.
In addition, we may retain the data if you have given us your permission to do so, or if legal disputes arise and we use evidence within the statutory limitation period, which may be up to thirty years; the regular term of limitation is three years.

We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the data we store against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Security levels are continuously reviewed in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards.
